Excursion Pompeii - Vesuvius

Duration of the tour - 5-6 hours

BlogoItaliano wrote a lot and repeatedly about Vesuvius and Pompeii. Therefore, it makes no sense to repeat, listing the sights of Pompeii.

We only note that the main "feature" of this route is the ability to "conquer" a restless volcano. Travelers reach a mark of 1000 m by car, and overcome the remaining 281 meters on foot.

Pompeii - one of the most famous catastrophes of mankind

However, such a trip is worth it: it is impossible to find the best viewing platform for a panoramic view of the magnificent surroundings of Naples and the endless blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Another unconditional attraction of Amalfi is the cathedral of the X century with an altar, where the relics of St. Andrew the First-Called are stored. The Paradise courtyard of the cathedral is a cascade of white carved arches characteristic of Arab-Sicilian-Norman architecture.

Tour "Campania Wine Roads"

Duration of the tour - 3.5-4 hours

This tour will delight connoisseurs and lovers of Italian wines. In ancient times, the Campania was famous for its Falernaya, which became the most popular wine among the wealthy strata of the population back in the days of the Roman Republic.

After the eruption of Vesuvius, many vineyards died, and winemaking in Campania fell into disrepair for some time, but over time it revived in a new quality, possibly not inferior to the antique.

Today, up to hundreds of local grape varieties are grown in the region, including alyaniko, the main cultivar of the famous Falernian variety. Aglianico and other varieties - fiano, coda di volpe - love volcanic soils, so they have taken root on the slopes of the irrepressible Vesuvius.
