A. Testoni

Amedeo Testoni is a world famous shoe brand that is famous for its sophistication, elegance and practicality at the same time. The brand's products are distinguished by a high level of quality and convenience, as well as a unique style.

Brand history

The homeland of Amedeo Testoni is considered the beautiful Italian city of Bologna (Bologna), since it was here in 1929 that the hereditary shoe maker Amadeo Testoni decided to open his first shoe store.

Shoes and handmade shoes of the master stood out clearly from the rest:

  1. Firstly, they were of high quality materials used to create them.
  2. Secondly, even in the first models A. Testoni already began to trace the spirit of innovation and that unique charismatic style for which the brand was subsequently loved by all Italian dandies.

From the beginning of the 30s of the last century until the start of World War II, the brand experienced a certain upsurge: new methods of craft processing of shoes were used, unique designs of soles and pads were invented, and the client base was expanded. But then the country began a protracted period of crisis, stagnation, which forced Testoni to curtail the mass production of men's shoes, starting to fulfill only rare individual orders.

All of the above difficulties did not prevent the master from inventing that legendary Derby shoe model, which literally turned the whole world of the fashion industry.

The real heyday of the company came in the 50-80s. At this time, Amadeo Testoni begins to actively experiment with the models he produces: styles change, a wide variety of textures and materials are used, the first women's shoe line in the history of A. Testoni is released. Also, during this period, mass production of shoes and shoes was established, new company stores were opened throughout Italy, brand factories began their work. A. Testoni enters the global market.

A. Testoni today

To date, the brand already has over 70 monobutics around the world. A. Testoni manufactures shoes for men, women and children, and also releases limited collections of various accessories.

Currently, the brand concept has two key areas:

  1. Black Label is considered more restrained and conservative. It is intended for business people who want to demonstrate their unique style, their confidence.
  2. White Label, on the contrary, is everyday, but at the same time sophisticated, ideal for residents of noisy cities.

A. Testoni style is, first of all, a competent combination of classics and elegance with convenience and practicality.

The new fall-winter 2016-2017 collection is made in the brand's traditional color scheme, which includes various shades of red, yellow, black and blue. In it, both the classic basic models of the brand (oxfords, derby, etc.) and the more modern, sports options for shoes (sneakers, boots, sneakers) coexist. According to the statements of the designers themselves, the new collection was created specifically for young women and men who are trying to find their own style, show their uniqueness and independence.
